Job Details for Executive Director (Finance & Accounts)
The Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) will serve as the Chief Finance Officer of RPCL, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This strategic-level position involves:
Assisting in negotiating project financing with development partners.
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Conducting financial planning, analysis, forecasting, debt management, and public issue management.
Providing leadership in financial governance and legal compliance for RPCL.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Oversight: Financial planning, analysis, and forecasting for business growth.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with laws, rules, and corporate governance standards.
Project Finance Management: Lead project financing discussions and secure funding.
Accounting & MIS Preparation: Oversee accounting operations and management information systems.
Qualification Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or MBA from a recognized university.
A minimum GPA of 3.0 (out of 5.0) or 2.5 (out of 4.0) in all academic qualifications.
No third division/class in any academic phase.
Experience:
At least 20 years in the finance field, with five years in a power generation, transmission, or distribution utility.
Five years at a minimum position of Deputy General Manager or equivalent.
Other Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of Government financial regulations, PPA, PPR, Company Act, and accounting procedures.
Strong leadership skills, communication skills (both in Bengali and English), and proficiency in computer applications.
Knowledge in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Total Quality Management (TQM), and corporate governance.
Compensation & Benefits
Basic Salary: Tk. 149,000 per month.
Additional Benefits: As per RPCL Employee Service Rules-2016.
